MMA Bag Gloves are used when training on a Heavy Bag, Punch Mitts, Double End Bags, and even when shadowboxing. You can generally tell a bag glove for MMA by whether or not it has a bar in the palm for gripping. Most MMA bag gloves have this bar, and are more closed-palm as opposed the the open palm of the competition gloves. Gloves can range in weight from 4 ounce to 8 ounce in MMA.
